Education is so imprtant, because most state legislatrs don’t evn know this is going on.

AMAC I’d like to touch briefly on “Zuck Bucks,” or Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s efforts to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to influence election procedures. SW Sure. So, for a number of years, Demo- crats have been funneling money to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations to fund get-out-the-vote operations for their candidates. What Zuckerberg did was a variation of that on a much larger scale. He put over $1 billion into a charitable bank account and, in turn, distributed a large chunk of that to two 501(c)3s, who then mainlined it straight into state and local elections offices under the guise of helping them with election procedures. This massive amount of money gave these highly ideological nonprofit groups Democrat operatives direct access to election infrastructure in thou- sands of localities. AMAC To wrap things up, what should the conservative response to all this be? How do we stop this? SW There are a few answers to that. First of all, we can expose what the left is

the Ford Foundation can fund some- thing like Occupy Wall Street. AMAC One big name in this space is George Soros. Can you touch on how exactly he funds left-wing prosecutors? SW The standard modus operandi is that the George Soros types will set up a state-level PAC that will give a money bomb to these leftist candidates very late in the campaign cycle to run an ad blitz. Along with this, there will be organizations set up to dissemi- nate talking points in the community pushing leftist ideas like “the commu- nity needs half as many police” or “we shouldn’t be prosecuting minor offenses.” AMAC Is it just George Soros, or are there other people out there doing this same thing? SW I wish it was just George Soros. There are a lot of Soroses out there; it’s Soros and Mark Zuckerberg, and Dustin Moscovitz, and Tom Steyer, and Michael Bloomberg. There are so many out there that you have never heard of who are just as bad as Soros.

doing. I’ve testified before Congress and in a number of state legislatures, and all of them have passed laws restricting things like Zuck Bucks although some governors, all of them Democrats, have vetoed those bills. Education is so important, because most state legislators don’t even know this is going on. The next question needs to be, in looking at the entirety of what the left is doing, what should conservatives eliminate, and what should they repli- cate? Some of it is just bad and ought to be eliminated like 501(c)3 orga- nizations registering voters. But on other things, there should be dupli- cation of left-wing efforts. And the battleground in every state is differ- ent, so we have to fight all of these battles in different ways.
