2022 AMAC ACTION ADVOCACY ANNUAL REPORT
The 2022 AMAC Action Advocacy Annual Report is set to report some stunning numbers and accom- plishments. Here is a selection of some notable achievements: • AMAC members participated in 65 call-to-action campaigns and registered more than 300,000 comments, telephone calls, and messages for federal and state representatives, regulatory websites, and corporate executives. • Over 12,000 AMAC members visited poll watcher/election worker recruiting websites for the primary and midterm elections in states throughout the country.
• AMAC members notched a huge victory when, based in part on the volume of comments they left on a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) website, the FTC announced an investigation into pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) anticom-
petitive business practices, which are responsible for driving up the cost of prescrip- tion drugs. Scan the QR code to view the report!
