North Dakota
national fight against esg
AMAC’s North Dakota members continued the streak of defeats for ranked-choice voting by helping to pass a state Senate measure that prohibits this kind of voting. The bill was vetoed by the Governor, but this maneuver was overridden by the state House and action by the state Senate was still pending.
AMAC members sent over 26,200 messages to Presi- dent Biden urging him not to veto a bipartisan resolution that would disallow harmful Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investing in retirement accounts. He ignored their messages and issued the veto, but AMAC members were able to call him out on the hypocrisy of his previous pledge to work both sides of the aisle and seek bipartisan solutions.
montana
Count Montana as another state where members were actively engaged in ranked-choice voting. Making hundreds of contacts with their state senators urging them to oppose this confusing voting scheme, their activity helped get the bill passed in the Senate.

AMAC Action provides a platform to ensure that the voice of conservative 50+ Americans is mobilized and heard in Washington, DC, and in the states. Won’t you join us to make this voice louder? These advocacy successes would not exist were it not for the caring engagement of the AMAC membership, whom we are proud to fight alongside, serve, and amplify their concerns.
AMAC members in Colorado contacted members of the state Senate to help pass a bill that strength- ens hospital price transparency in the Centennial State. This bill, should it become law, will help foster competition for medical services and lower costs for healthcare consumers.
