ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE By: David G. Weber One autumn evening in 2012, I was in a local café waiting for a to-go order when I struck up a conversation with another patron. The news on the café television turned to politics, and our conversation turned to the upcoming Presidential election. She enthusiastically began to tell me about an organization she just joined – one that she thought I’d like – but she couldn’t remember the name. After rummaging through her purse, she pulled out an AMAC membership card. I couldn’t help but smile. After five years, our efforts to preserve our Constitutional Republic were beginning to take root. AMAC’s early years were a classic “catch-22.” We didn’t have an advocacy network or many benefits to offer prospective members, but we didn’t have the membership to build an advocacy network or negotiate benefits and discounts. Today, after fifteen years of lofty goals, purposeful work, and plenty of prayers by extraordinary people, not only is AMAC still here, but we’re here to stay. We’re delivering on our promise to do good for America today and to ensure a brighter future for our children and grandchildren tomorrow. From humble, grassroots beginnings, AMAC has become a voice to be reckoned with – now more than two million members strong. People on Capitol Hill turn to AMAC to find out where you – the very people from whom we take our marching orders – truly stand on the issues. And today, when those on the left try to flex their political muscle to promote an agenda that is contrary
