The Corey Spangler Story S occora Marie (Corey) Spangler came to this country with her family when she was only five years old, fleeing government corruption in her native Mexico. Could she have ever imagined where the love she had for her new country would take her? Corey had always been a patriot. She was proud to be an American and along with her husband, George, often gave freely of her time volunteering in one capacity or another. But after hearing about AMAC and its mission to advocate for seniors, Corey knew where her heart was. And so began her 14-year relationship with AMAC. She and George were among AMAC’s first volunteers in the infancy of the organization.
